HIMHERANDIT Productions

HIMHERANDIT Productions is a multi-medium artistic collective formed in 2003 and based in Aarhus, Denmark since 2009. It aims to produce high-quality, innovative and bold live-art productions, merging together dance, theatre, visual and art.

HIMHERANDIT Productions is led by the artists Noelia Mora Solvez and Andreas Constantinou whom to date have performed and exhibited their work nationally and internationally.

Since working together in 2009 Noelia and Andreas have been specifically driven to create bold live art, physical theatre and installation productions in Denmark. Specifically focusing on contemporary and experimental work that pushes artistic boundaries and try’s to further broaden artistic perspectives, communication and culture in Aarhus, Denmark.

Noelia and Andreas have been very active in igniting Aarhus based art events, performances and installations not only as funded productions but also as non funded underground events in the hope to cultivate new crowds of audiences outside of the usual theatre environment.

To date they have presented a combination of their works at Archauz, Aarhus Kunstbygning, Aros, Aarhus Musikhuset, Entre Scenen and Godsbanen Aarhus as part of various festivals, events, exhibitions and full productions.

The artistic freedom delivered by himherandit enables our artists to work either collaboratively or individually on creative projects. Projects can range from full scale site specific works with international collaborators that convert disused buildings into multi medium performance productions or at the other end of the scale, an individual presenting their own work to an audience of fifty.

We believe and understand the necessity of play, research and exploration as a means in guiding the artist to finding their own true authentic artistic voice. Our interests are in authentic ways of working, abandoning known vocabularies and striving for individualistic expression that pushes personal and artistic boundaries. Not being restricted to one specified code or framework our artists create works that range from Choreography, Installation, Visual art and performance art. We understand the need of breaking out of the artistic boxes placed on us by conventional society and therefore value and nurture cross medium works.

And that which can not be danced can be constructed in to an installation comprising of space and objects, or it can be adapted to a three screened video installation, or a series of drawings and so forth the possibilities are endless.

That is why we consistently and readily are eager to keep exploring the vast possibilities that we have as artists and as people striving for an honest experience of the world we live in and portraying, reflecting or expressing it from non linear perspectives.
