Visibility, Dialogue, and Empowerment
Eleven individuals living with HIV step into the role of performers at Aarhus City Hall, sharing their personal stories to confront stigma and highlight the realities of living with HIV in Denmark today. Their testimonies transform the space into a vibrant platform for visibility, dialogue, and empowerment.
Set on a striking rainbow floor and in the round, the city hall becomes an artistic and symbolic setting where these voices can resonate. HOME QUEER HOME POSITIVE PERSPECTIVES moves beyond traditional artistic spaces into an institution of social and political power, creating a bridge between personal experience and societal change.
Positive Perspectives, is presented in collaboration with the AIDS Foundation and inspired by the foundation’s portrait series Positive Portraits by Mathilde Fenger, which are presented as a sister installation to the performance.
