The GENDERhouse Projects were a six-year artistic platform created by HIMHERANDIT Productions, exploring gender, sexuality, identity, and the social structures that shape our lives. Through performances, community engagement, educational initiatives, artist laboratories, and public dialogue, the project created spaces for diverse voices and lived experiences to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
Bringing together acclaimed productions including The MANhouse, The WOMANhouse, ReDoing GENDER, WoMAN & WOMAN, and G.A.R.D.E.N, the GENDERhouse challenged assumptions around gender and identity while sparking conversations across generations, communities, and cultures.
Recognised nationally and internationally for its artistic innovation and social impact, the GENDERhouse became a defining chapter in HIMHERANDIT’s artistic journey, laying the foundation for many of the company’s future works and its ongoing commitment to creating bold, inclusive, and socially engaged performance experiences.
