The WOMANhouse
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The WOMANhouse is an award winning performance which sees four powerfully athletic female performers transform themselves into men. Acting like typical blokes - with beards and all - they stir up fights and frenzy. Questioning masculinity in female bodies, they tear up stereotypical ideas about what it is to be a man - and about what female bodies might do. Tender, aggressive, sexy, blurry - this show crosses all the lines.
The WOMANhouse is a dance theatre performance that is immediate, humours and most certainly thought provoking. The show tackles topics of masculinity from a fresh perspective.
Selected as one of the top twenty dance performances for Aerowaves 2016, The WOMANhouse house has toured extensively through out Europe between 2015-2018.
